A still life picture can be made up of anything - I like to use objects that are to hand, especially a pot or vase that doesn't get used very often, stuck up on a high shelf. Arranging them is half the fun! The skin of the pineapple was particularly enjoyable to paint, such amazing textures and it responds beautifully to my black line technique.
